The mission of G. DeAn Strobel, MD, PA is to provide a resource for complete healthcare through patient evaluation, education and empowerment. Dr. DeAn Strobel founded this private practice in 2001 after being in practice in Sherman, Texas, since 1999. The office is located on the 2nd floor of a state-of-the-art medical office building in Sherman, Texas, and has grown over the years from having only 1 doctor and 2 employees to now having another physician and several other providers and a total of over 18 employees.
Dr. G. DeAn Strobel and Dr. Karissa L. Cryer are board-certified in obstetrics & gynecology. Although they no longer practice obstetrics, they and our team of nurse practitioners (Angelica Ortiz, FNP-C, Katie Green, FNP-C, and Daniela Castillo, FNP-C) provide a wide array of healthcare services. The scope of the practice includes gynecology, well-woman exams, outpatient gynecologic surgery (endometrial ablation and other conditions), bladder disorders (including overactive bladder, urge incontinence, stress incontinence, and interstitial cystitis, as well as bladder treatments like Axonics® and Bulkamid®), hormonal optimization, sexual dysfunction, and nutritional evaluation and modification. We also help care for patients with conditions such as thyroid disorders, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other common conditions. Dr. Strobel also offers a functional medicine approach to complex and chronic disease. Dr. Strobel and her staff strive to keep up with changes and advances in medicine as well as other medical innovations and technological advances. We offer in-person as well as telemedicine visits for your convenience.
