Dr. DeAn Strobel, MD, FACOG
Physician, Owner & Medical Director
Dr. DeAn Strobel is a board-certified OB/GYN who is in solo practice north of Dallas, TX, in the city of Sherman. She first completed a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and Spanish and attended graduate school in engineering before deciding that biological sciences and medicine were where she truly belonged. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical Center and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX in 1999.
Although initially attracted to surgery, she soon found a new interest in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Strobel enjoyed the combination of basic medicine, specialty studies, and surgery. Dr. Strobel began her practice in Sherman in 1999. After the birth of her twin boys in 2001, she then decided not to continue practicing obstetrics. She opened Allure Laser & Medical Spa in 2002.

Dr. Strobel enjoys caring for patients for many years as well as getting to know them and their families well, but, after being in practice for only a short time, she realized that there were many issues for which traditional medicine and training had not prepared her. This led her eventually to bioidentical hormones as well as functional medicine. Dr. Strobel incorporates bioidentical hormone therapy with traditional Western medicine, functional medicine, supplements and dietary therapy.
