G. DeAn Strobel, MD
Dr. DeAn Strobel is a board-certified OB/GYN in private practice north of Dallas in Sherman, TX. She completed a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and Spanish and attended graduate school in engineering before choosing medicine. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical Center and completed her OB/GYN residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in 1999. She began her Sherman practice that same year and, after the birth of her twin boys in 2001, focused her practice on gynecology. She founded Allure Laser & Medical Spa in 2002. Dr. Strobel integrates traditional Western medicine, functional medicine, and bioidentical hormone replacement with functional medicine, supplements, and dietary therapy.

Karissa L. Cryer, DO
Dr. Karissa L. Cryer is a board-certified OB/GYN physician and North Texas native, born and raised in Farmersville, TX. She attended Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, then completed medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and her OB/GYN residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, IL in 2018. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Dr. Cryer served as a physician at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, NE from 2018 to 2022 before returning to North Texas. Dr. Cryer joined our team in March 2025, and she cares for patients as an experienced gynecologist, robotically-trained, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon and incontinence specialist. Her professional interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (including DaVinci Robotic procedures), treatment of incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and overactive bladder, cosmetic gynecology, vaginal rejuvenation, sports medicine and care for female athletes, contraception, and hormone replacement therapy. Outside of work, Dr. Cryer enjoys time with her family. She loves being a wife and mother, is an avid dog and sushi lover, and enjoys sports and football, outdoor activities, and traveling to new places.

Angelica Ortiz, FNP-C
Angelica was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico in 2003. Her career includes medical/surgical ICU nursing in New Mexico and Oklahoma and specialty pediatric hematology/oncology nursing before she moved to Sherman in 2008. She earned her Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Texas Woman's University in 2014 and also has served as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) at the Grayson Crisis Center. A native Spanish speaker, Angelica is passionate about empowering women to make informed decisions and about healthy nutrition and active living.

Katie Green, FNP-C
Katie Green is a Texoma native who began in the medical field at 19. She earned her BSN-RN from East Central University in 2008, began her career in the Medical ICU at Wilson N. Jones, and has built diverse experience across acute care and outpatient family practice. She earned her Master's in Nursing from Maryville University in 2015 and has served her community as an FNP for many years. Outside of caring for patients, she enjoys her family's farm, gardening, beekeeping, and being active in her church.

Daniela Castillo, FNP-C
Daniela Castillo is a bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner, born in California and raised in Texas. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing at Grayson College and completed both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) at the University of Texas at Tyler. Her background in medical-surgical and critical care, pain management, and primary care gives her a strong foundation in complex patient care. As a proud bilingual provider, she is committed to reducing healthcare disparities and creating a welcoming environment for Hispanic patients and all those she serves.

Talitha Hooker, FNP-C
Talitha Hooker brings over 25 years of nursing experience to the practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. A native of Denison, TX, Talitha is known for a patient-centered philosophy focused on safe, empowering, and individualized care. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her three children and being active in her community.
