Laparoscopic surgery, also called minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, is a way to treat many women's health problems through just a few small cuts instead of one large one. At G. Instead of one big cut, the surgeon makes a few small cuts, often about a half inch or less. Laparoscopic surgery is usually done while you are asleep under anesthesia, and many procedures let you go home the same day.
